Today, I went to my 'who's looked at me' page, which I do only occasionally. (It's part of the dating package.) Turns out lots of people are checking out other people's profiles, which is interesting. But every single person I looked at had empty profiles.

So I systematically looked at people who had looked at my dating ad, since I assume that means they're interested in more information (and not simply that they are considering me as a dating possibility). And *every one* was empty. No forum posts. No dating ad. No pics. No vids. No stories. Occasionally, a coupla shoutbox posts or comments, but mostly not.

To those of you whose profiles are empty--can you help me understand why? When I see an empty profile, I assume it's disinterest, and probably that the person is a lurker, just interested in 'getting off' here without a partner knowing, without risking involvement. But is that right? Or am I maligning some of you without reason?

Agreed, although inactivity can easily be seen by checking thier last log in, and some people just prefer to lurk.
